The upper third of the face (forehead, cheekbones, eyebrows) loses in volume while the bottom third (chin, tip of nose, neck) gains in loose skin. It is this phenomenon that makes the face look old. Lines and wrinkles develop, creating deeper, more marked features while the chin loses definition. A facelift lifts the skin in the lower third of the face (cheeks, chin, neck) restores a smoother, fresher face.

Blepharoplasty (eyelid lifts)

The eyebrows define a person’s gaze and are very important in non-verbal communication. Eyebrows that sag can easily make a person look sad or even angry. Fine lines appear with time, a person’s gaze ages and gives a tired look. All of these can dull a person’s appearance and make the face look stern. An eyebrow lift, usually combined with a forehead lift, can significantly improve these signs of aging by opening up the patient’s gaze.

Blepharoplasty

A person’s gaze is an essential part of his or her communication. Sagging eyelids can easily give an impression of fatigue, fade one’s gaze and make a face look old when at rest. Blepharoplasty (or eyelid surgery) can significantly improve this appearance of aging and help rejuvenate the face.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is surgery to improve the appearance of the nose. Some people find that their nose does not match their personality. The width of the nasal bones, the projection and the shape of the tip or a bump on the back of the nose are all valid reasons to consider rhinoplasty.

Facelift Ageing skin loses some of its tone and sags.
